Aug 31, 2013 Make sure you scrub out the washer and dryer very well, and run some towels through a couple of times before you do important clothes again. I had one bust and didnt notice it until I was folding them, and by then already had another load in the dryer and yep- there was enough ink on the inside of the tumbler that a few in that load got spotted as well.

Believe me here... hair spray. does it everytime. let the dryer cool first. spray directly on the area.use paper towels to wipe away, you may need to do this a few times but it will work, there may be a faint tint on the walls of the dryer but this will not come off onto the next set of clothes you dry. after you wipe the ink away, you should wipe again with a clean wet ( with water) cloth.

July 2014. That happened to our dryer when I was a teen and I think my mother had me clean it with acetone nail polish remover. It was a long job but it worked. Definitely run a fan for the fumes and maybe break it done into 15 to 30 minute times and take breaks so you dont get too uncomfortable.
